We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an Assistant Drylining Estimator to join their team. This position will be based in Essex, with travel into London as required. Responsibilities Preparation of Cost Estimates Produce accurate and competitive cost estimates based on technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements, ensuring all submissions are commercially viable. Tendering & Take-Offs Prepare detailed take-offs and tender submissions, ensuring all deadlines are met and documentation is completed to a high standard. Client & Design Team Coordination Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to clarify project details, resolve queries, and ensure alignment on scope and expectations. Supply Chain Engagement Source and negotiate competitive pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to support cost-effective project delivery. Documentation & Record Keeping Maintain detailed and organised records of estimates, tender submissions, and client feedback for future reference and continuous improvement. Requirement * Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in drylining estimating within the construction industry * Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications * Strong communication and organisational skills * Must be based within commutable distance to London * Available immediately or with a notice period of up to one month Benefits £60,000+ salary with opportunities for progression within a growing specialist contractor
