Pastoral / Behaviour Mentor – South East London Location: South East London Start date: September/October 2026 Contract type: Temp to Perm Pay: From £105 per day, depending on experience and relevant qualifications Apex Educ8 is looking for a confident and supportive Pastoral / Behaviour Mentor to join a school in South East London. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with young people and supporting pupils with their behaviour, wellbeing and engagement in school. Responsibilities: • Build positive and trusted relationships with pupils • Provide pastoral and behavioural support • Support pupils to manage behaviour and emotions positively • Help remove barriers to learning and engagement • Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams Requirements: • Experience supporting children or young people in an education, pastoral or relevant setting • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • A calm, patient and consistent approach • Confidence supporting behaviour and challenging situations • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing What Apex Educ8 offers: • Temp to perm opportunities • Weekly pay • Ongoing support from the Apex Educ8 team • Training and development opportunities All placements are subject to the required safeguarding and compliance checks
