Software Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements

• Knowledge of a .net language (C#, VB.net) - Able to independently build windows forms/WPF applications
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, SPI, SCPI, CAN, and other automotive/Industrial protocols
• Electronics/Electrical knowledge supporting EV testing
• Working with version control systems
• Perform unit tests and debug own code
• Educated to Degree Level (Electronics, Computer Science, Maths with Computing)
• A full UK Driving License (clean record) - essential

Responsibilities

• Creating and documenting requirements
• Carrying out updates on existing codebase
• Creating new software products
• Creating test plans, implementing and documenting results
• Supporting colleagues with advice and sharing of knowledge
• Engaging in periodic travel to other UK sites, USA, Europe, and China
• Versioning & storing source code in accordance with company management systems (GIT)

This is a permanent position with a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, working 37 hours a week. We expect some travel, including infrequent trips to Cannock in the West Midlands and Germany.
