The Role As the Year 1 Teacher , you will deliver engaging and purposeful lessons that encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning. We are looking for a Year 1 Teacher who can create a positive classroom environment where children feel motivated, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. Working closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leaders, you will contribute to a culture of excellence while helping pupils achieve strong academic and personal outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where needed Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes Support the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupils About You The ideal Year 1 Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess recent experience within Key Stage 1. You will have excellent classroom management skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for helping children succeed.
