Interim SHEQ Manager Duration: 2-3 months (potential for extension) Salary: Competitive + benefits Location: North Wales Open to full-time or part-time support. We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality activities at our client's key site in North Wales. This key role involves providing expert advice, ensuring the site operates safely and sustainably, and driving continuous improvement across all SHEQ aspects. Key Responsibilities Promote and embed a strong SHEQ culture across the site. Manage hazard identification, risk assessments, and process safety activities. Oversee site SHEQ management systems including audits, inspections, and emergency planning. Lead incident investigations, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented. Manage contractor safety, inductions, training, and occupational health programmes.Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications Level 6 qualification in Health & Safety or Environment, or equivalent competence. Strong knowledge of environmental permitting, legislative compliance, and management systems. Experience working in waste, incineration or an alternative hazardous industry Proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and promote a safety-first culture.
