MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading food manufacturing business to appoint a Senior National Account Manager – Key Retail Lead. This is a permanent, Yorkshire-based role.


You will act as the commercial lead for a key UK grocery retail account, owning the end-to-end relationship and driving sustainable, profitable growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Take full ownership of a strategic retail customer, leading the commercial agenda and long-term growth plan
  • Act as the primary commercial interface, building a high-impact, collaborative partnership with your customer
  • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP), shaping strategy and aligning mutual growth objectives
  • Own all commercial negotiations including pricing, promotions, range reviews and trading terms
  • Identify and unlock opportunities across distribution, category growth and promotional performance
  • Work cross-functionally with category, marketing, NPD and supply chain teams to deliver best-in-class execution
  • Use data, insights and market trends to inform and refine account strategy
  • Deliver against revenue, volume and margin targets, with full P&L accountability for your account


What We’re Looking For:


  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager or Senior National Account Manager within FMCG or food xwzovoh manufacturing
  • Strong, established relationships with major UK grocery retailers (e.g. M&S, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Co-op)
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of owning and growing key accounts
  • Confident negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable commercial plans
  • Based in Yorkshire or open to relocation
