AC Engineer – Foot Mobile EngineerLocation: Central London – Zones 1 & 2 Salary: Circa £48,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Call-Out: 1 in 8 weeks Overtime: Plenty of overtime and weekend opportunities available We are currently recruiting for an experienced AC Engineer to join a well-established Facilities Management team, covering a portfolio of high-end residential properties and commercial office spaces across Central London. This is a foot-mobile role, primarily covering Zones 1 and 2, with the majority of the portfolio located around Marylebone. The RoleAs an AC Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of air conditioning systems across approximately 15 buildings. The role offers a varied workload, combining PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) with reactive repairs, fault finding and general servicing. You will be working across a high-quality portfolio of residential and commercial properties, providing a professional and reliable service to clients and building occupants. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on AC systems Attend reactive breakdowns and diagnose faults Complete servicing, repairs and general maintenance of air conditioning systems Fault find and identify issues efficiently Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports Respond to reactive maintenance requests within agreed timescales Work across approximately 15 buildings throughout Zones 1 and 2 Provide a professional service within high-end residential and commercial environments Participate in the 1-in-8-week call-out rota Undertake additional overtime and weekend work when required/available Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high standardAbout YouWe are looking for an experienced AC Engineer who is confident working independently and dealing directly with clients and building occupants. Essential: Level 3 qualification in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration or an equivalent qualification Relevant experience as an AC Engineer Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently while managing a varied workload Full right to work in the UKWhat's on Offer?
