Job Title: Appointed Person for Civil Construction Site Location: IP17 1UT Hours: 10 hours paid per day Rate: £35 per hour (CIS) Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Appointed Person to oversee lifting operations on our civil construction site in IP17 1UT. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of all lifting activities. Key Responsibilities: * Assess and plan lifting operations, including risk assessments and method statements. * Collaborate with lifting teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. * Coordinate equipment selection and inspection. * Provide guidance and support to team members on best practices. * Maintain accurate records of all lifting activities and incidents. Requirements: * Valid Appointed Person certification. * Proven experience in civil construction lifting operations. * Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation. * Excellent communication and leadership skills. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
