Job Role: English Teacher (SEN) Location: Fareham Pay: £168.80 – £270.98 per day (dependent on experience) Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm Contract Type: Full Time Start Date: September 26 Are you a passionate English Teacher who believes that every young person deserves an engaging, accessible, and meaningful education? About the Setting This specialist SEN secondary school supports pupils aged 11–16 with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, and additional communication and learning needs. Many pupils have experienced disruption to their education and benefit from a highly structured, trauma-informed approach delivered by a dedicated and understanding staff team. Class sizes are small, support is strong, and the focus is on re-engaging learners through personalised pathways that build confidence, communication skills, and a love of learning. The Role As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and adaptable English lessons across KS3 and KS4, tailored to meet a wide range of learning needs and abilities. You will play a key role in helping students develop literacy skills, express themselves confidently, and re-engage with education in a supportive environment. This full-time role starts September 26 and runs until the end of December with the potential to continue into January for the right candidate.
