Senior Inclusion Worker Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire Pay: £110 - £140 per day (depending on experience) Contract: Temp to Perm Start Date: ASAP Agency: Prospero Teaching About the Role As a Senior Inclusion Worker, you will: Build positive and trusting relationships with students aged 5-14. Support learners with SEMH, behavioural and additional learning needs. Lead targeted intervention programmes to improve engagement and attendance. Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, parents and external agencies. Manage challenging behaviour using restorative and trauma-informed approaches. Provide mentoring and one-to-one support to vulnerable students. Assist with safeguarding and welfare concerns, ensuring all procedures are followed. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience working within an Alternative Provision, PRU, SEN setting or mainstream school pastoral team. Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills. Experience supporting students with SEMH, ADHD, ASD or trauma-related needs. A calm, resilient and empathetic approach. Relevant qualifications in Youth Work, Education, Health & Social Care, Behaviour Support or a related field are desirable. Essential Requirements Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). Right to work in the UK. Two professional references covering the last two years.
