Early Years Teaching Assistant

Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant Location: Various Schools through Veritas Education Job Description: Veritas Education is seeking Bank Early Years Teaching Assistants to work across various primary schools in the areas of Blackburn and Accrington. This role will be supporting various schools, supporting classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons. You'll work closely with class teachers, assisting in both one-to-one and group settings, providing essential support to pupils, particularly those with additional needs. Responsibilities: Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs, as well as support in group settings Help create an inclusive and stimulating environment for early years learners Manage classroom behaviour to support a positive, productive atmosphere Work collaboratively with teaching staff to enhance student learning experiencesRequirements: Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) Experience working with children in a classroom setting Positive attitude, patience, and a passion for educationBenefits: Flexibility, you can work as many days as you'd like.
