Assistant Headteacher / Deputy Headteacher | Primary School | South East London September Start 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Full Time Class Based with Leadership Responsibility (KS1-KS2) An established and well regarded primary school in South East London is seeking an experienced and committed senior leader to join the school from September on a 12-month fixed term contract. The school is open to appointing either an Assistant Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher, with leadership responsibility shaped around the successful candidate’s experience and strengths. The Role • Take on a key role within the senior leadership team • Combine a class based teaching commitment (Years 1-6, depending on experience and preference) with leadership responsibilities • Support the ongoing development of teaching, learning and whole school standards • Contribute to wider school improvement and strategic priorities • Benefit from increasing leadership release over the course of the year The Candidate • Current Assistant Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher • Strong track record in improving teaching and learning • Experience leading teams and driving standards • Confident operating at senior leadership level within a primary setting • Strong classroom practitioner across the primary phase The School This is a well run, high performing primary school with consistently high expectations.
