About the role
We’re looking for a candidate with experience in handling TP & Injury claims who is keen to develop their skills and knowledge to join our expanding PI claims team.
You’ll be an effective communicator and will take a flexible and proactive approach to the changing needs of the business.
Most important is your attitude and work ethic – we’re looking for people who can contribute something and have a desire to grow with us.
Key Accountabilities
* Comfortable validating, investigating, and negotiating third party personal injury claims.
* A sound understanding of the industry, including MOJ processes, the pre-action protocol and litigation procedures
* Strong Organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise your own caseload.
* The ability to work to monthly targets, both for your team and at an individual level.

* Commercially astute, and able to assess claims based on economics and with the best interests of the business in mind.
* Experience working within agreed authority levels which have involved settlement delivery options available.
* Strong negotiation skills and able to challenge where appropriate
* Comfortable making quick and accurate decisions on liability, quantum and indemnity.
* The ability to spot and deal with potentially spurious claims.
* A team player who is happy to work with limited direct supervision.
* A good understanding of industry procedures, products and services including rehabilitation, how these are delivered and be able to select appropriate solutions.
* Proven ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent call handling skills and customer service abilities
* A confident verbal and written communicator.
