Paint Shop Operative Location: Chatham, Kent Salary: £13.07 per hour Hours: 37.5 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business seeking a Paint Shop Operative to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a practical, hands-on role where full training is provided. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will support the preparation, coating and finishing of components while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities * Prepare components for the coating process * Package finished parts ready for dispatch * Support coating and paint shop operations * Hand blast components to specification * Carry out product quality inspections * Complete production paperwork accurately * Follow work instructions and production schedules * Maintain a clean and safe work area * Work collaboratively to achieve daily targets * Adhere to all health and safety procedures What We're Looking For * Reliable and hardworking approach * Comfortable with physical, practical work * Positive attitude and team-focused mindset * Good attention to detail * Ability to follow written instructions * Commitment to producing quality work * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in manufacturing, production, paint spraying, blasting or coating would be beneficial, but is not essential.
