About the role

Community Support Worker Temporary,Full Time Are you experienced in supporting customers to build confidence, develop life skills and live independently? We're offering a 12-month fixed term opportunity tobecome a Community Support Worker at Amplius. Working closely with customers, colleagues and partner agencies, youll provide person-centred support that helps people facing homelessness move towards greater independence, wellbeing and long-term housing stability. Contract:12-month fixed term contract Your week: 37 hours - Monday to Sunday between the hours of 8am - 10pm on a rolling rota. Provide housing-related support tailored to individual needs, helping customers maintainand increase their independence. Act as a key worker, developing and reviewing support plans and risk assessments with customers. Support customers to manage their tenancy, including rent payments, utilities, reporting repairs and maintainingtheir home. Build positive relationships with customers, encouraging social inclusion, wellbeingand engagement within the local community. Work with statutory and voluntary agencies to coordinate and deliver effective support programmes. Maintain accuraterecords, reportsand support documentation, monitoringcustomer progress and outcomes. Promote safeguarding, health and safety, equality and customer involvement while managing risk appropriately within the service. GCSEs in English and Maths at Level 4-9 (or equivalent). Relevant experience working within housing related support services. A good understanding of safeguarding and the ability to promote customer wellbeing and safety. The ability to demonstrateempathy, maintain confidentiality and apply data protection principles appropriately. Good administration skills, with attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuraterecords and reports using Microsoft Office, emailand internet-based systems. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, building positive relationships with customers and partners.
