Stores Person - Day/Back Shift
Location: West of Scotland Science Park
Pay: £13.25 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Are you organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a busy Goods In and Stores environment? We're hiring a Material Handler to join our team at the West of Scotland Science Park.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be responsible for the accurate receipt, checking, storage and movement of incoming materials across the site. Key duties include:
Receiving and processing incoming goods.
Checking deliveries against purchase orders to confirm the correct items and quantities have been received.
Checking goods for damage, discrepancies or missing items and reporting any issues.
Booking incoming goods accurately using the Kardex system.
Recording and maintaining accurate goods-receiving information.
Allocating and storing materials in the appropriate locations.
Maintaining accurate physical and system stock records.
Ensuring materials are stored securely and in accordance with company procedures.
Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across the Goods In and Stores areas.
Following all Health & Safety, quality, and operational procedures.What You'll Get:

Previous stores, warehouse, Goods In, materials handling or manufacturing experience is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider stores operation.
Good computer skills and confidence using computerised systems.
Ability to check deliveries and documentation against purchase orders.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
