About the role

Service Engineer Manager - We are working with a specialist company based in Cambridge, specialising in renewable heating and cooling technologies. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager to lead and develop the mechanical service department. As Facilities Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service team, ensuring high levels of performance, organisation, and customer satisfaction. You will be hands-on when required, providing technical support and fault diagnosis across a range of renewable systems. Your role:Manage and lead the mechanical service departmentPlan, schedule, and coordinate service and maintenance worksProvide advanced fault detection and diagnostic support on heat pump systemsEnsure service jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standardLiaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teamsMaintain accurate service records, reports, and documentationSupport team development, training, and performance managementRequirements:Proven experience managing a service or maintenance teamStrong technical background in mechanical systems, ideally heat pumps or renewable technologiesHighly organised with excellent problem-solving skillsConfident in fault finding and troubleshooting complex systemsProfessional, customer-focused, and able to lead by exampleFull UK driving licence.Offer:Competitive Salary up to £50k per annum based on experience and qualificationsKey leadership role within a specialist technical teamJoin a highly skilled and collaborative team that values knowledge sharing and professional supportClear and structured career development and growth within the businessTravel discounts and mileage reimbursement for work-related travelApply now by submitting your CV.
