Il Bistrotto is an Italian bistro and cocktail bar on Hollywood Road, built around shareable plates, excellent ingredients and a lively evening atmosphere. We're looking for a hands-on Chef to be the point of reference in our kitchen and help make every service feel warm, confident and consistent.
Our food is all about letting good ingredients speak for themselves. We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of Italian cooking and a real respect for the product: how it's sourced, prepared, cooked and presented. You'll lead a focused menu of sharing plates, work closely with the front-of-house team, and take pride in the details guests remember.

Oversee all aspects of food production, from ingredient selection to final presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster teamwork and professional growth
Manage food preparation processes, including cooking techniques, portion control, and plating standards
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Collaborate with management to develop creative menus that align with current trends and customer preferences
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage orders and inventory effectively, ensuring essential items are always available
