Job: Housekeeping and Waste Management Operative Location: Radstock, Somerset Hours: Monday to Friday Part-Time 12.00pm - 4pm Pay: £12.96ph Contract: Permanent We are looking for a proactive Housekeeping & Waste Management Operative to help maintain a clean, safe and efficient working environment across our clients site. You will take ownership of housekeeping standards and waste management activities, ensuring waste is handled correctly, site areas remain tidy, and health, safety and environmental standards are consistently met. Key Responsibilities * Manage and segregate waste and recycling streams * Operate waste-handling equipment safely * Maintain housekeeping standards across production and yard areas * Clean equipment during planned downtime * Support waste collections and liaise with contractors * Identify and report hazards, spillages and safety concerns To be considered you will need to: * Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or facilities environment * Good awareness of health & safety and manual handling practices * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload * Counterbalance FLT licence preferred (or willingness to be trained) If you take pride in maintaining high standards and enjoy working in a practical, hands-on role, we'd love to hear from you.
