My client is a 60+ person practice with offices across the UK.

They're looking for a experienced Mechanical Engineer with a background in building services to lead on a variety of projects.

They promote from within, they invest properly in their people, and they work across sectors that most engineers actually find interesting: heritage, healthcare, education, rail.

The Role

• Leading mechanical design projects end-to-end - from initial survey and feasibility through to design, spec, site supervision and handover.
• Being the senior voice on mechanical services - managing workflows, holding QA standards, and making sure the detail is right.
• Bringing junior engineers on - mentoring, training, and helping the team grow around you.
• Getting involved in the business side - bidding, fee proposals and project financials as you settle in and progress.

About you

• Degree in a relevant engineering subject
• 3-5+ years in building services design
• Confident with mechanical design software and AutoCAD & Revit
• Exposure to sustainability or low-energy design

Package

• Starting salary up to £55,000 - with fast-track progression opportunities
