REVENUE SUPPORT INSPECTOR Battersea Park Station, SW8 4BH £12.71 – £21.52 per hour Minimum 35 hours per week Full Training Provided We are currently recruiting Revenue Support Inspectors to work within a busy rail environment at Battersea Park Station. The role focuses on revenue protection, customer service and security, helping to prevent fraudulent travel and reduce revenue loss while providing a professional service to passengers. You’ll work alongside colleagues on trains and at stations, checking and scanning tickets and ensuring customers are travelling with valid fares. THE ROLE Your daily duties will include: * Inspecting and scanning tickets * Helping to prevent fare evasion * Issuing penalties where appropriate * Assisting customers with queries * Managing challenging or confrontational situations professionally * Supporting safety and security across the rail environment * Working closely with colleagues on trains and at stations SHIFTS You must be fully flexible to work across weekly rosters. Shifts operate Sunday to Saturday, with: * Early starts from approximately 5:00am * Late finishes up to approximately 10:00pm * Weekend and varied shift working * A minimum availability of 35 hours per week WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You will need: * Previous customer service experience * Strong, clear and professional communication skills * The ability to remain calm in confrontational situations * Good attention to detail * Good numeracy and report-writing skills * Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends Experience in cash handling, shift work or challenging and unpredictable working environments would be beneficial. Candidates with experience in similar public-facing or enforcement roles are particularly welcome, including backgrounds within the Police, Civil Enforcement or Military. Full training is provided.
