Earthworks Site Foreman

Apex Resources Limited are seeking an experienced Earthworks Foreman to oversee and manage earthmoving projects on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising teams, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a management professional with a strong background in earthworks and construction supervision to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects. Duties * Lead and supervise earthworks teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely * Coordinate daily operations, including scheduling and resource allocation * Monitor project progress and report on milestones to senior management * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times * Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution * Utilise Primavera P6 for project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking * Manage subcontractors and liaise with clients to address project requirements or issues * Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and safety protocols * Provide mentorship and training to team members to enhance productivity and skills Requirements * Proven management experience within earthworks or construction environments * Supervising experience with a track record of leading successful teams on large projects * Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively * Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members * Knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to earthworks operations * Ability to problem-solve quickly and adapt to changing project demands * Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are desirable * Must have valid SMSTS/Gold CSCS Contract Rate: £300.00 per day Start Date: Wednesday 6th May If you are interested and available, please apply with your most up to date CV.
