Nursery Practitioner Term time

Nursery Early years practitioner Term time. Holding a Level 2 or 3 (or above) in Early years childcare. We are currently recruiting a Early Years Practitioner for our beautiful nursery and preschool near Dorking. We cater for children from 0- 4 years with two dedicated classrooms. We are seeking individuals who can promote high quality care in a stimulating, rich learning environment which offers wonderful opportunities for all children. Main responsibilities and duties: * Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children's needs. * Be able to have key person responsibility in the under 2's room and carry out daily and individual planning. * Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children. * Assisting the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day to day high quality childcare. The ideal candidate will; * Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe. * Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five. * Ideally be qualified to NVQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent (Higher) in Early years childcare. Alternatively have Early years childcare experience. * Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages Benefits & Remuneration: * Regular team events * Regular support from the management team * Ongoing in house and external training opportunities * Flexible working hours * Annual pay reviews We are a term time pre-school working 38 week per year. Hours ideally are 8-5pm . But we can discuss shorter days this can be working over 2, 3 or 4 days per week.
