Senior Quantity Surveyor required in EssexGVR Solutions are currently representing a very well established and reputable main contractor, based in Essex, who are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. As a main contractor they supply full modular turnkey services to the to the Residential and accommodation sectors and work on new development projects up to the 20m in project values.As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:Be involved in managing the commercial reports and advice to the management teamAssist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studiesEnsure the commercial targets are achieved including project and programme cost, quality and time.Delegate work where necessary and liaise with team on project progressFactor in health and safety regulationsManaging the costs of the project, budgeting and cash flowsCarry out measurement for valuationsAnalyse progress and reportingIdentify Opportunities and risksAttend post tender and pre-contract meetings.Prepare summary reports for the client and other stakeholdersThe Senior Quantity Surveyor must have/be:A detailed knowledge of Quantity Surveying working for a main contractor or Residential contractorDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalentExcellent analytical skills to make informed, balanced business decision and reportingSelf-sufficientProven track record of delivering construction projectsExcellent communication and oral skillsComfortable liaising with Clients and Senior ManagementStable employment historyHigh-performing individualVersatileExcellent time keeping skillsIf you meet all the Senior Quantity Surveyor requirements above, then please get in touch.
