Chief Financial Officer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding the company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and commercial management. ResponsibilitiesCreate and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO and Private Equity investorsSupport the financial planning and analysis effortsOversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company auditsPrepare financial statements and reportsEnsure legal compliance on all financial functionsManage relationships with banksManage a small team of financial staffAssist the CEO and PE backers in valuation maximisation and liaising with potential buyers QualificationsStrong finance-based analytical skillsMinimum of 15 years' of finance experience including in PE backed companiesPrevious CFO experience in a software company that has made a successful exitExperience as CFO in a company in the 200-500 person rangeThe salary is flexible for the right person (ignore the range on the job board) and there will be a generous variable plan and long term incentives on sale.Please note this a confidential role so we will not be initially sharing the company's name
