Job Description: HGV Class 2 Driver – Full-Time (Temp to Perm) Location: Papworth Everard Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Papworth Everard. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated driver seeking a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent. Role Overview: You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations. This role involves early morning starts and requires a strong commitment to punctuality and customer service. Working Pattern: * Monday to Saturday or Monday to Friday (rota basis) * Start time: 04:00-05:00 AM * Early afternoon finishes Key Responsibilities: * Deliver goods efficiently and in good condition * Carry out vehicle checks and ensure compliance with safety standards * Maintain accurate delivery records * Provide excellent customer service at delivery points Additional Requirements: * Must be flexible to drive 7.5t and 3.5t vehicles when required (paid at HGV Class 2 rate) * Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence * CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety * Strong work ethic and reliability What’s on Offer: * Competitive pay at £16.50 per hour * Full-time hours * Temp to perm opportunity with a reputable client * Consistent work with early finishes If you are a motivated HGV Class 2 driver looking for a stable and rewarding role, we would like to hear from you
