Job Title: M&E Operative (Roto Operator) - National Grid Substation Project Location: Melksham, United Kingdom Start Date: 25/05/2026 End Date: 20/11/2026 Hours: 07:30 - 17:30 (50 hours per week) Rate: £320 per day IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Limited Company Payment: Not compliant Contract Type: Temporary Positions Available: 1 We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Operative / Roto Operator for a long-term contract on a National Grid substation project in Melksham. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified operative with previous substation experience and the correct National Grid authorisations already in place. Essential Requirements: Roto Operator Ticket (360 Degree Slew) - Essential National Grid Person - Essential Manual Handling Certificate - Essential Previous experience working on National Grid / live substation projects Strong understanding of site safety procedures and working in high-voltage environmentsRole Responsibilities: Operating a 360 Degree Slew Roto safely and efficiently on site Supporting ongoing M&E and infrastructure works within the substation environment Assisting with material movement, lifting operations, and plant support duties as required Working in line with RAMS, health & safety procedures, and site compliance standards Supporting site teams to ensure works are delivered safely and to programmePlease note: Only candidates with the exact required tickets and relevant substation experience will be considered.
