About the role • Delivering pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher • Supervising classes across KS3 & KS4 and maintaining positive learning environments • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with learning • Supporting students and responding confidently to classroom situations • Working across a variety of subjects and school settings • Flexible day-to-day and short-term supply opportunities available About the school •Opportunities available across a variety of secondary schools in Lowton and Wigan • Friendly, welcoming, and supportive school environments • Strong leadership teams and collaborative staff cultures • Flexible placements to suit your availability • Excellent opportunity to gain broad classroom experience Person Specification • Previous experience working with young people is essential • Confident managing classroom behaviour • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Flexible, adaptable, and reliable approach • Degree educated or school-based experience preferred • Passionate about supporting students and education • Experience in a school, coaching, youth work, or mentoring background is advantageous All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
