Senior Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician Newport, South Wales £45,000 basic | OTE circa £52,000 Monday to Friday We are recruiting an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician for a modern, well-equipped automotive workshop in Newport. This is a senior hands-on position for a Technician who is confident with diagnostics, fault finding and larger mechanical repairs. It would also suit a Master Technician looking for a strong long-term opportunity outside of a traditional main dealer environment. The role will include: Advanced diagnostics and fault finding Engine repairs Wet belt replacements Cambelts Clutches Electrical and sensor-related diagnostics Larger mechanical repairs General repairs across cars and light commercial vehicles What we're looking for: Experienced Senior Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Master Technician Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability Confident carrying out major mechanical repairs High standard of workmanship Reliable and professional approach Looking for a stable, long-term position What's on offer: £45,000 basic salary OTE circa £52,000 Monday to Friday only Flexible start and finish times Modern, clean and well-equipped workshop Dedicated ramp and equipment Specialist tooling available Ongoing training and development Supportive management Excellent long-term career stability This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician who wants good earning potential, Monday-to-Friday working and the freedom to get on with the job without unnecessary pressure or micromanagement.
