Job summarySeren Gobaith is a newly
commissioned, state-of-the-art 62-bedded mental health hospital in Rhyl, North
Wales. The hospital comprises five specialist wards: an 8-bedded Low Secure
Unit (Male), two 11-bedded Locked Rehabilitation wards (Male and Female), and
two 16-bedded Acute Admission wards (Male and Female).The Registered Hospital Manager
is the Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW) Registered Person and is accountable
for the day-to-day operational, clinical, and regulatory leadership of the
hospital. You will lead a multi-disciplinary workforce of approximately 100
staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, recovery-focused, person-centred
care that meets and exceeds the Independent Health Care (Wales) Regulations
2011, National Minimum Standards, and all relevant Welsh legislation.You will be the visible,
values-driven leader who sets the culture of the organisation, champions the
Welsh language and Active Offer principle, and ensures every patient receives

assurance and risk management frameworks

therapeutic interventions and ensure the hospital maintains a culture of least

Chair or participate in weekly Multi-Disciplinary Team
meetings, CTP reviews, Care Programme Approach (CPA) meetings, and Mental
Health Review Tribunals as required.3. Welsh Language and Cultural Requirements

Ensure accurate and timely recharging for placements,
enhanced observations, and additional services.
Provide weekly Key Performance Indicator data and
financial reports to the Provider as required.
Optimise the use of resources, minimising reliance on
agency staff through effective recruitment, retention, and workforce planning.5. Human Resources and Workforce Development
Provide strong, visible, and motivational leadership to
all staff groups, acting as a role model for the values of the organisation.
Lead recruitment and retention initiatives to attract
and retain high-calibre staff, including the development of a positive
workplace culture.
Ensure all staff receive regular supervision, annual
appraisals, and have Personal Development Plans in place.
Manage performance, absence, and disciplinary matters
in accordance with hospital policies and employment legislation.
Ensure all professional staff maintain valid
registration with the NMC, HCPC, or other relevant regulator and support
