We are recruiting for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer (70/30 or 80/20) to support the maintenance of tube laser cutting machines and associated production equipment within a busy manufacturing environment.
The role involves both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Electrical and mechanical maintenance of tube laser cutting machinery
* Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault finding
* Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks
* Log work on the maintenance system
* Maintain critical spare parts stock
* Support improvement projects across the department
* Work closely with production and engineering teams
Requirements
* Time-served, City & Guilds or BTEC in Engineering
* Electrically biased maintenance experience
* Strong fault-finding skills
* Manufacturing environment experience preferred
* Pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge desirable
Salary & Benefits
* £38,000 basic salary
* 20% night shift allowance
* Production bonus averaging £2,300 per year
* Average overtime worth approx. £4,500 per year
* Realistic OTE £47,000–£48,000

Shift Pattern: 2-week rotation (AM / PM / Nights)
