If you have previous experience working within UK schools and are passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential, we'd love to hear from you! ✨ The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: ✅ Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups ✅ Assist pupils with additional learning and SEN needs ✅ Encourage engagement, confidence and positive behaviour in lessons ✅ Work closely with teachers to help students reach their potential ✅ Provide academic and emotional support where required ✅ Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment ‍ Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, you must: ✔️ Have previous experience working within UK schools ✔️ Be confident supporting secondary-aged pupils ✔️ Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills ✔️ Be passionate about education and helping young people succeed ✔️ Be able to provide references covering your recent employment history DBS Requirement All applicants must hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new DBS through Teaching Personnel. If you do not currently have a valid DBS, you must be willing to cover the cost of obtaining one as part of the safer recruitment process.
