Social Worker - Adult Access & Duty Team Hackney Council (Hybrid) Up to £32.00 per hour (Umbrella) Locum Contract Connect2SocialWork are currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join the Access & Duty Team at Hackney Council. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced front door service, where you will play a key role in ensuring timely responses to referrals and supporting residents to access the right services at the earliest opportunity. Key Responsibilities Undertake strengths-based Care Act assessments Provide information, advice and signposting to residents and carers Respond to referrals within a busy Access / Duty environment Develop person-centred support plans focused on positive outcomes Contribute to and undertake safeguarding enquiries Assess and manage risk, including MCA and DoLS application Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners Maintain accurate and timely case recordsRequirements Qualified Social Worker (Degree / DipSW / CQSW) Registered with Social Work England Experience within Adult Social Care, ideally in Access / Duty / Front Door services Strong working knowledge of: Care Act 2014 Mental Capacity Act Safeguarding frameworks Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload and work under pressure Experience working with complex needs and diverse communities (desirable)Key Skills Strong assessment and analytical ability Excellent communication and partnership working Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines High standard of record keeping and report writingWhy Work with Connect2Socialwork?
