Technical Manager

Our client is a Waltham Abbey based and growing residential developer with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality new homes. Typically between 40 – 100 units per annum. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Technical Manager to join their team and take responsibility for the technical delivery of a number of residential developments. The successful candidate will manage projects from pre-acquisition and planning through to construction and completion, working closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders. The Role * Managing the technical delivery of multiple residential developments * Coordinating architects, engineers, consultants and other design teams * Reviewing and managing technical drawings, specifications and design information * Supporting the planning, pre-construction and procurement process * Ensuring designs are technically compliant, buildable and commercially viable * Identifying and resolving technical issues throughout the construction process * Working closely with Construction, Commercial and Development teams * Managing design programmes and ensuring information is issued on time * Supporting the delivery of high-quality homes in line with company standards About You We are looking for a technically strong Technical Manager with experience within residential development or housebuilding. You will ideally have: * Strong technical knowledge of residential construction * Experience managing consultants and design teams * Good understanding of building regulations, NHBC and technical standards * Excellent communication and organisational skills * The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines * A commercially aware and proactive approach This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and expanding residential developer where you will have genuine responsibility and the opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of their developments.
