HGV Technician - Nights

Nightshift HGV Technician West Thurrock, Essex | £30.00 per hour | Permanent We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Technicians for a leading commercial vehicle dealership in West Thurrock. The Package * £30.00 per hour * £62,400 basic salary per year * 40 hours per week * 4-day working week – Tuesday to Friday * 8:00pm – 6:30am * 30-minute break * Overtime paid at time and a half * Permanent position * 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service * Pension with employer contribution of up to 5% matched * Healthcare cashback scheme * Free uniform and safety footwear * Employee discounts across retailers, cinemas, theme parks and more * Discounted vehicle leasing and contract hire The Role As a Nightshift HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of commercial vehicles to a high standard. The successful candidates will be confident carrying out fault-finding and diagnostics and will ideally have experience working within a main dealer or similar professional workshop environment. You will also have access to ongoing training and development, including exposure to electric and next-generation commercial vehicle technology. What We're Looking For * HGV Technician Level 3 qualification or equivalent * Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills * Proven experience working on commercial vehicles * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * High standards of workmanship * Main dealer experience preferred Applications will also be considered from experienced HGV Technicians who have strong diagnostic skills and a broad range of HGV experience.
