Job Overview

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Corporate Senior Associate or Legal Director to join this boutique law firm that acts as the legal arm of a wider group of companies, and one of the most active deal makers in the market. You will, in essence, be acting as an In-House Corporate Solicitor / Legal Director, working on behalf of the group of companies, and dealing with transactional corporate work, including mergers, acquisitions, capital markets and private equity matters. The office is based in central Manchester, with hybrid working available, plus the scope to develop and progress your career quickly, as this boutique practice has ambitious growth plans.

Responsibilities

• Act as an in-house corporate solicitor/legal director for the group of companies
• Handle transactional corporate work from start to finish, primarily in the £3million > £15million bracket, with some larger‑scale matters up to £50million
• Supervise junior solicitors and paralegals
• Manage your own caseload and ensure compliance with firm procedures

Qualifications

• 6+ PQE as a Corporate Solicitor with experience at a regional or national Legal 500 practice
• Proven track record of successfully managing transactions from initiation to completion
