Property Insurance Disputes Solicitor – Bristol

This is a great opportunity for an Associate Solicitor to join a market-leading insurance firm that is continuing to grow its Bristol offering. I am particularly keen to speak with lawyers who enjoy the property side of insurance work – not just handling claims but really getting into the detail of policy coverage and advising clients on complex exposures.

The Role

You’ll be advising insurers and reinsurers on a broad range of property-related matters, with a strong emphasis on coverage analysis alongside disputes. The work often has an international dimension and can involve large, complex losses across property, construction and energy risks.

Alongside handling your own caseload, you’ll be a key player in this team hence this is very much a “make your mark” role where there’s real scope to shape your practice over time.

Your work will include:

• Advising on policy coverage issues relating to property, construction and energy risks
• Handling high-value and technically complex property damage claims
• Supporting insurers on large, multi-jurisdictional losses and exposures
• Managing disputes from early advice through to resolution, including litigation where required
• Working on claims with a construction or engineering element, often alongside technical experts
• Pursuing subrogated recoveries on significant losses

You’ll be joining a highly regarded team that works closely with major insurers and reinsurers, supporting them on both UK and global matters. The firm is particularly well known for its strength in construction and engineering-related disputes and is trusted advisers when it comes to navigating complex coverage issues.
