Bright Star Talent is currently looking for a caring, patient and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a school in Fazakerley, Liverpool, starting in September.
This is a role where your personality really matters. Some days will be challenging, but the small wins can make a huge difference. Whether that’s helping a student get through a difficult morning, encouraging them back into learning or simply being the consistent adult they know they can rely on.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely wants to build relationships, earn trust and help young people move forward.
This role could be perfect for you if you:
* Have previous experience working with SEMH, SEN or challenging behaviour
* Are confident supporting children or young people who may display challenging behaviour
* Are patient, calm and able to stay composed in difficult situations
* Have the personality to build strong and positive relationships
* Understand that every pupil is different and may need a different approach
* Can provide consistent one-to-one and small-group support
* Work well as part of a wider school team
* Are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to education
* Have a good understanding of safeguarding
* Have a DBS registered on the Update Service – essential
