We’re responsible for preparing the foundations of the entire site: designing and constructing cut‑off walls, retaining structures, soil improvements and more. Using advanced geotechnical engineering and world‑class construction technologies, this is a rare opportunity to contribute to a national project that will shape the UK’s clean‑energy future. What You'll Be Doing * End‑to‑End Procurement: Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from early supplier engagement and sourcing strategy through to tendering, award and supplier management, ensuring best‑value outcomes. * Sourcing & Tendering: Conduct market research and run RFIs, RFQs and ITTs using e‑procurement systems (e.g. Jaggaer), carrying out tender evaluations and making award recommendations based on total cost of ownership. * Supplier & Category Management: Build and manage supplier relationships, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across key categories. * Commercial & Operational Support: Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with governance, quality and project requirements, while supporting fast‑paced delivery with short lead times. * Market Insight & Sustainability: Monitor supply markets to identify risks, opportunities and innovation, while supporting sustainability, environmental, ED&I and Zero Harm objectives across the supply chain. * Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project, technical and operational teams to understand requirements and deliver a responsive, value‑adding procurement service. What We’re Looking For Essential * Experience across the full procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, tendering and supplier management * Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills, with confidence reviewing quotes and cost data * Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail * Proactive, solution‑focused mindset with the ability to identify improvements and add value * Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills Desirable * Experience within construction, civils or engineering supply chains * Familiarity with procurement systems such as SAP or Jaggaer * CIPS qualification, or working towards / willingness to develop professionally
