Do you enjoy solving complex IT challenges and want to be part of a business where technology truly underpins operations? We're looking for a 2nd Line IT Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company in Stoke-on-Trent, supporting both office and production environments.

This role is hands-on, varied, and gives you the chance to work across infrastructure, applications, and networks - no two days are the same.

What you'll be doing

Escalation point for 1st Line issues, ensuring problems are resolved quickly and effectively.
Supporting Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and end-user devices.
Troubleshooting networking technologies (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs).
Maintaining and optimising critical systems that keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.
Assisting with IT projects - including cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and system rollouts.
Producing clear documentation for systems, assets, and incidents.
