Early Years Practitioner (Level 3)

Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner (Permanent) Location: Totton, Southampton Hours: Full-time / Part-time Contract Type: Permanent About the Role We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery in the Totton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to providing high-quality early years education and care, and who thrives in a nurturing, child-centred environment. Key Responsibilities Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years. Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Support children's learning and development through play-based approaches. Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Observe, assess, and record children's progress. Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are always followed. Work effectively as part of a team to maintain high standards of care and education. Requirements Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare. Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework. Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A genuine passion for working with children. An understanding of safeguarding procedures. Desirable Skills Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain). Experience with planning and assessment systems.
