About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery in the Totton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to providing high-quality early years education and care, and who thrives in a nurturing, child-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Support children's learning and development through play-based approaches.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are always followed.
Work effectively as part of a team to maintain high standards of care and education.
Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for working with children.
An understanding of safeguarding procedures.
Desirable Skills
Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
Experience with planning and assessment systems.
Knowledge of inclusive practice and supporting children with additional needs.
