Your new role As Procurement Officer, you will: Support the Procurement Manager in delivering effective procurement activities across the organisation.
Be involved in supplier sourcing and management, market research, contract and quotation preparation, compliance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.
Help develop procurement procedures, support supplier negotiations, undertake risk assessments, and ensure procurement activities align with relevant regulatory requirements across the UK and Ireland.
This is a varied position offering exposure to contracts, supplier management, compliance, and strategic procurement initiatives What you'll need to succeed Previous experience within procurement, purchasing, supply chain or a similar commercial function.
Experience supporting contract management and procurement processes.
Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyse data and interpret financial information.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Tendering experience would be advantageous.
Experience within healthcare, social care or a regulated environment would be beneficial.
