Chef/Catering Supervisor

The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is one of the UK's largest trade unions. A vacancy exists for a Chef/Catering Supervisor based at the Union's Head Office.
Manage a kitchen team in the production of a range of food items for staff and visitors.
Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation including ordering, production planning, menu development, cooking, health and safety, and staffing.

A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
A relevant qualification such as a Professional/Advanced Chef Diploma or a Diploma in Professional Cookery is desirable, or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience of working within a busy kitchen environment in a supervisory role.
Knowledge and experience of producing a varied, nutritious and balanced menu.

34 hour week working 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30 am to 3.30 pm Friday.
