Accounts Assistant

You know your way around a ledger. You can spot when something doesn't look right. And you're looking for a temporary role where you can get stuck in from day one.

This Accounts Assistant role in Castleford is a 3-month temporary role paying up to £30,000, working with a well-known business and an established finance team. It's fully office based, so you'll have the team around you when you need them.

As Accounts Assistant, you'll be supporting across both purchase ledger and sales ledger, helping keep the day-to-day transactional finance operation running smoothly.

You'll be getting involved with processing invoices, allocating payments, reconciling accounts, resolving queries and making sure the ledgers are accurate and up to date. It's a hands-on role where your experience will be put to use straight away.

They're looking for someone who's already comfortable working across purchase ledger and sales ledger and can hit the ground running. You don't need to know every system under the sun, but if you've used SAP before, that'll definitely help.

You'll need to be happy working from the Castleford office and available for a 3-month position.
