Contract: Forward Network Engineer Start: ASAP (on completion of background checks)

Duration: 6 Months Rate: £500 - £550 a day inside of IR35 Location: London (2-3 days a week onsite)

Reference: 20911 Essential skills: Multi-vendor networking: strong hands-on CLI experience with Cisco (including ACI), Arista, Fortinet, Check Point and F5 Routing and security: deep understanding of routing, VRFs, MPLS, ACLs, NAT and firewall policy

Scripting: Python, REST APIs, and working with JSON and CSV data Data querying: comfortable with SQL or similar query languages

Linux: platform administration, including upgrades, access control and certificates

Troubleshooting: methodical diagnosis of network and data problems Desirable skills Forward Networks Enterprise, especially its Network Query Engine (NQE) Similar tools: NetBrain, IP Fabric, Batfish, SolarWinds NCM or HPNA Integration with xwzovoh ServiceNow, a CMDB or a source-of-truth system (e.g. NetBox) Cloud networking (AWS or Azure) Network controls or audit evidence (segmentation, hardening, firewall rule reviews) Git and CI/CD, network automation (Ansible) Networking People (UK) is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
