What's on Offer: £28,000 - £35,000 Hybrid working City Centre office 1pm Friday finish (work up hours) 35 hour working week 28 days holiday with option to buy more Dress down Fridays Death in Service x4 Income protection higher grade About You: Qualified Accounting Technician (ATI, AAT, or equivalent) is desirable Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping or accounts experience, ideally within an accountancy practice Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, VAT, and cloud accounting software Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Confident communicator with a client-focused approach About Your New Role: Always: Manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across a range of industries Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time Maintain sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations, and control accounts Process journals and ensure financial records are complete and accurate Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues Often: Assist with the preparation of management accounts Liaise with clients to obtain financial information and resolve queries Support year-end accounts preparation by maintaining accurate records Work with cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks Occasionally: Assist with payroll processing where required Support colleagues during busy periods and with ad hoc client projects Attend internal training sessions and continue your professional development Never: Feel like your work goes unnoticed.
