Training & Development Coordinator

100% office-based £26,600 plus 2 x yearly bonus OTE £28,000 The role is dayshift working 37.5 hours a week. Our very successful and forward-thinking client is looking for a Training & Development Coordinator to join their HR Team. This role will provide comprehensive coordination and administrative support to the Training & Development function, ensuring the effective planning, delivery, recording and reporting of training and development activities across the company. The role will support the attraction, recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of apprentices and other emerging talent programmes whilst also coordinating learning activities for the wider workforce. Duties: Health & Safety Participate in the development and promotion of the HSE culture Be familiar with the main health and safety risks and the main environmental impacts relating to the scope of his/her work Be familiar with the sites HSE policy and objectives To be able to make proposals for improving working conditions and limiting environmental impact Training & Development Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Training & Development function. Coordinate and schedule internal and external training activities across the business. Liaise with training providers to source, arrange and confirm training solutions that meet operational requirements. Manage training bookings, joining instructions, attendance records and associated documentation. Coordinate onsite training events, meetings and development activities. Support the management and administration of apprenticeship programmes, including enrolment, progress monitoring and stakeholder communication. Assist in identifying training requirements and development opportunities for employees. Ensure training evaluations are completed, and feedback is collated to measure training effectiveness and support continuous improvement. Emerging Talent Support the attraction, recruitment and selection activities for apprentices and other early careers programmes. Support building and maintain effective relationships with schools, colleges, universities and training providers. Assist with the apprentice onboarding activities, inductions and development reviews. Monitor apprentice progress and maintain regular communication with providers, mentors and line managers. Assist in organising and attending careers fairs, school engagement activities, events and recruitment campaigns to promote the company. Support work experience placements, internships and other emerging talent initiatives as required. Reporting & Administration Assist in preparing and maintaining monthly training KPI reports and management information. Monitor and report on training compliance, attendance, completion rates, apprentice progress and other agreed training metrics. Maintain accurate records to support audits, customer requirements and internal reporting needs. Ensure all training documentation is maintained in accordance with company document control procedures. Identify opportunities to improve training administration processes, systems and reporting methods. Undertake reasonable ad-hoc duties and projects in support of the Human Resources and Training Development. Excellent benefits available.
