HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

We have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our client, a market leader in the Waste Management industry based near Maidstone, on a temporary on-going basis with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.

Shifts: Monday to Friday 6:30AM -2:30PM/finish Pay rate: £17.06 per hour Overtime after 40 hours-Saturday: £25.29, Sunday £ 34.12 bank holiday £34.12 Roles and Responsibilities: As a Class 2 Driver Refuse Loader, you will be responsible for operating a refuse collection vehicle and assisting with the loading and disposal of waste and recyclable materials from designated areas.

Working as part of a team, you will ensure efficient waste collection and adherence to safety regulations.

Collecting General Waste/Recycling and Food waste from Residential properties within the Sittingbourne Area You will be working with a team of loaders whose primary role is to ensure the vehicle is loaded, as a driver you will be required on occasions to assist with the loading Your primary role is to drive, and ensure the vehicle is driven safely.

Work is an ongoing temporary placement and will be booked on a week-by-week booking About you: Valid UK Driving licence, CPC and Digi Tachograph Reliable and Punctual Prior experience an advantage but not essential Newly qualified drivers welcome.
