Cover Supervisor

About the Role Complete Classroom Services (CCS) are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cover Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Cover Supervisors, or individuals with experience working with young people in an educational setting. The successful Cover Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning across the school. Key Responsibilities • Supervise classes across a range of subjects using pre-set work provided by teaching staff • Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy • Ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons • Support students with questions relating to the work set • Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding behaviour and lesson outcomes • Promote safeguarding and student wellbeing at all times • Work effectively as a professional Cover Supervisor across different year groups and subjects The Ideal Candidate • Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills • Confident, adaptable, and professional approach expected from a Cover Supervisor • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and use initiative • A genuine passion for supporting young people and education • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is advantageous but not essential What’s on Offer • Full-time role, Monday to Friday • Supportive school environment with welcoming staff • Opportunity to gain experience across a range of subjects and year groups as a Cover Supervisor • Excellent experience for aspiring teachers or education professionals All applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references in line with safer recruitment procedures.
