Responsibilities

• Implement business strategy of treasury functions and meet profit objectives.
• Use solid financial product and risk knowledge to dynamically capture customer needs and market opportunities.
• Focus on customer needs, pay attention to compliance principles, and operate efficiently and effectively.
• Implement all policies and guidelines set by BOC Limited, BOC Hong Kong and Management for treasury operations.
• Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, internal and external policies related to treasury operations, including foreign exchange and money market operations.
• Adhere strictly to dealing limits set by Management and report breaches to Head Office/Management for immediate ratification.
• Ensure the Bank’s liability requirements are funded in the most effective and economical way.
• Maintain a portfolio of quality and marketable money market instruments for investment, optimizing returns within acceptable risks approved by Head Office/Management.
• Coach, guide, and transfer banking skills, knowledge, and technicalities to staff.
• Keep abreast of BOCHK and BOC Limited Financial Market Policies, review policies, recommend enhancements or localization for better alignment with practices while conforming to local regulatory framework.
• Willing to work at the Southeast Asian branch of BOCHK.

Requirements

• Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM or equivalent are advantageous.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in financial markets, including products, money market liquidity management, etc.
• Profound knowledge of regulations and policies of financial markets.
• Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills.
• Problem solver with a positive attitude.
• Strong determination and sense of responsibility.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
